Youngville  Highway History
Association, Inc.

About the Youngville Highway History Association:

The Youngville Highway History Association [YHHA] was organized in 1997 to preserve the history of the Lincoln Highway (the first transcontinental highway in the nation) and the Youngville Cafe - one of the few remaining rural filling station/eateries in the State of Iowa, created in response to the historic highway and located along its original route. The association is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization comprised of an executive board, board of directors and members. The organization meets to conduct on-going business, to disucss the development of community programs, fundraising activities, museum development, publicity and promotion, research and special events.

Organizational Structure of the YHHN:

The organization currently has a core group of volunteers who assist with hands-on work at the Youngville Cafe, fundraising and special events. Additional volunteers are available on an as-needed basis and more are needed!
